Valencia targets a win against FVD today

Male', MALDIVES - Valencia coach (Binma) Abdullah Waheed denies the rumors that Valencia will target a goal fiesta against Foundation for Vilufushi Development (FVD) today to secure league’s top position. The former national team and Valencia midfielder instead said they will try to control the game and take the lead and will think about anything else after that.

‘Scoring many goals is not our first intention, instead we will try to control the game and take the lead. To win the three points is what’s important’ He started.

‘Then only we can think about anything else’

Binma also expressed that the results in the league so far have been big surprises to many of us and they will keep that in mind facing FVD today, indicating the small teams shocking wins and draws against bigger teams. Valencia is the only team that did not suffer such a setback, but other three have been the victims of such results.

‘So far the results have been a big surprise. I have already explained that to the players. There is no weak team in this competition’

Valencia midfielder Habeeb is a guaranteed absentee for today’s game due to injury, meanwhile James and Felix are also suffering from minor injuries but Binma hinted both of them may appear against FVD today.
